Lennox Head’s annual festival, Love Lennox, is just under a month away. The Love Lennox team says plans are almost complete, but there are one or two surprises to share, including a fun mini festival next weekend.

The mini festival, 100 Club, is an important first step towards the success of the Love Lennox Festival. Like a lot of community events it is always chasing sponsors to put on a great free event. In an exciting development, Love Lennox have some news;

“We are thrilled to announce that Airbnb has officially come on board as our international sponsor,” Michelle Bailey, Business Lennox Head President said.

“Their commitment to our festival means that funds will be reinvested back into our community, helping to create an unforgettable experience for everyone.”

An Airbnb spokesperson says its pleased to advocate for local enterprise, and delighted to be involved, “We are excited to be a part of the Love Lennox festival, which provides a fantastic opportunity for locals and visitors to celebrate the region, while at the same time providing a vital boost to local businesses and the economy.”

Ms Bailey is grateful for this important major sponsor, which she says helps to ensure Love Lennox goes ahead.

“We would also like to express our gratitude to Mayor Sharon Cadwallader for her unwavering support of local community events. Her efforts helping to secure sponsorship have made it possible to move forward .”

Ms Bailey said next weekend’s mini festival, 100 Club is the final step in ensuring Love Lennox is not only happening, but really pumping.

“Businesses are being asked to become one of the 100 Club limited raffle. As the name suggests, The Club Lennox 100 Club Fundraiser has only 100 tickets available and 100 prizes to be given away.  Keeping with the 110 theme, tickets to enter are selling for $100.

“There are three major cash prizes, first prize is $2500, $1500 second and $500 third. From 3.30pm we’ll start counting down to the major cash prizes saved for last,” Ms Bailey said.

“We are very honoured to have Club Lennox working with us to put this together. They’ve come up with the 97 other prizes, things like cases of beer or vouchers to their restaurants. Everyone who enters will win something.”

Lloyd Morris from Paradise FM will be the MC and there will be live music, The Mumblers, as part of the event.

“The Love Lennox festival is brought to life by Business Lennox Head.  It is a celebration to acknowledge the local businesses that give Lennox it’s identity, and for the businesses to give back to the locals.”

The Love Lennox team: Michelle Bailey (President), Brad Pollard (Treasurer), Alexander Sharkey (Vice President) and Jolie Rochell (Secretary & Marketing Manager). Michelle and Alexander are co chairs for the festival.

“Powered by passionate volunteers, we’re not an outside events company. We’re locals, working hard all year round to support our community, promote local businesses, and create a space where connection, creativity, and good vibes thrive,” Ms Bailey said.

“This festival is our gift back to Lennox – with thanks to the businesses who support us all year through donations, raffle prizes, and in-kind help.

“Let’s lift each other up, celebrate our beautiful town, and show the heart behind this event.”

The doors open for 100 Club at 3pm at Club Lennox, Sunday May 25th to grab any tickets remaining. The prize raffle starts at 3.30pm. Get your raffle tickets here.
