New $7 million retail precinct opens at Epiq as Lennox Head growth continues

A new $7 million commercial building has opened at Epiq Marketplace, adding eight tenancies to the fast-growing Lennox Head precinct.

The development, delivered by Clarence Property, expands the existing shopping hub by another 720 square metres and brings the total lettable area at Epiq Marketplace to more than 6,100 square metres.

While tenants have yet to be announced, the project is expected to provide additional retail and service options for one of the Northern Rivers’ fastest-growing communities.

The new building was constructed by Bennett Constructions and forms part of the broader Epiq masterplanned community, which is now valued at around $250 million.

That wider development already includes more than 450 homes, sporting fields, a childcare centre and the established neighbourhood shopping centre.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening, attended by Ballina Shire Mayor Sharon Cadwallader alongside project stakeholders and development representatives.

The latest addition comes as Lennox Head continues to experience strong population growth, with further housing planned through the Epiq Terrace Houses project, now under construction.

Stage one of the terrace housing is expected to be completed by late 2026, with a second stage due to launch later this year.

The new commercial space is expected to play a key role in supporting the area’s growing population, although details of the incoming businesses are still to be confirmed.
