Just in time for Easter, NSW National Parks has announced a stunning new multi day hike in our own backyard – the Gidjuum Gulganyi walking track.
It’s a 42km hike starting in the Mount Jerusalem National Park, winding through the Nightcap National Park and finishing at Minyon Falls in the Whian Whian State Conservation Area. It is set to become one of the key attractions locally and globally in the World Heritage area.
It has been set out as a three night, four day hike taking in some of the regions most picturesque Gondwana Rainforest.
Perhaps the most suitable person to introduce the Gidjuum Gulganyi, properly, is Ashley Moran, the chair of the Widjabul Wia-bul Gurrumbil Aboriginal Corporation:
