Pet of the Week: Chai is looking for a home
Chai is a five-and-a-half-year-old domestic short-haired cat with a striking blue, white and grey coat and a calm, soulful presence.
Currently in care while he waits for a permanent home, Chai is a gentle and affectionate boy who thrives on human company.
He loves pats, cuddles and quiet companionship, and is happiest settled beside you on the couch or following you from room to room.
Chai’s steady purrs and relaxed nature make him an easy cat to live with, especially for someone wanting a close bond rather than an independent pet.
He would suit a home where he can enjoy regular human contact and be treated as a true companion.
Chai is being cared for by Northern Rivers Animal Services.
All animals in NRAS care are vet checked, flea and worm treated, vaccinated, microchipped and desexed before adoption.
If you think Chai might be the right fit for your home, contact the NRAS Shelter Office on 6681 1860 or email shelter@nras.org.au.
An adoption questionnaire is available at www.nras.org.au.
