
Police appeal for help to find missing Ballina man

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man missing from Ballina.
Caine Tierney, 47, was last seen on Ross Street, Ballina, about 12.30pm on Wednesday, June 24.
When he could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Richmond Police District were notified and inquiries into his whereabouts are continuing.
Family and police are concerned for Caine’s welfare.
Caine is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of large build, with a shaved head, a red and greying beard, and blue-green eyes.
He was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants and a black Spiderman T-shirt. He is also known to wear black prescription horn-rimmed glasses.
Police say Caine is known to frequent the Ballina area.
Anyone who has seen Caine or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Ballina Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
