Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing woman who is known to frequent Ballina, Lismore and Nimbin.

Stephanie Cordery, 42, was last seen on Woodlark Street in Lismore about 5.30am on Wednesday, August 5.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from the Richmond Police District were notified and began inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold serious concerns for Stephanie’s welfare as she lives with a medical condition and requires medication.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair.
