Purchase a Duck Race Entry or a Corporate Duck Entry

The duck race will be held on the Richmond River at Captain Cook Park (next to Ballina RSL) NSW Australia.

Sunday 8 March 2026 | 11:00am – 3:00pm

Enjoy a fun-filled day featuring food, games, jumping castles, candle making, bubble fairies, live entertainment and music, duck racing, the popular Best Dressed Duck competition, and more.

Community Duck Race Tickets $5 ea or 3 for $10

When you buy a Racing Duck ticket, you’re buying a numbered entry in the race, not a physical duck.

1,000 numbered rubber ducks will race down the Richmond River.

Prizes:

• 1st Prize: $500 voucher donated by Harvey Norman – Ballina

• 2nd Prize: $300 cash donated by Launch Performance & 4×4 – Ballina

• 3rd Prize: $200 cash donated by Precision Kitchens & Cabinets

Corporate Ducks $80 ea

Businesses, schools, community groups and organisations are invited to purchase a Duck, dress their duck, and enter the Best Dressed Duck Competition.

• Best Dressed Duck will receive a trophy

• People’s Choice Award – Best Dressed Duck, voted by the public on the day
